A 145 - room Hampton Inn is being proposed at the southwest corner of Sheridan and Albion Avenue.  At the Bremner Lounge in Centennial Forum, 1225 West Loyola (at Sheridan), there is to be a meeting concerning the proposed hotel, on Tuesday, 20th January, 2015, at 7:00 P.M.  49th Ward Alderman, Joe Moore, is its sponsor.

Former "Carson's Ribs" Building

FORMER "CARSON'S RIBS' BUILDING

According to DNAinfo, the property where a  Carson's Ribs was once located  (5970 North Ridge) was bought by Michael Nortman of Crossroads Development, for $1.15 million.  He also developed Walgreens and L.A. Fitness, on Broadway and Glenlake. He plans to tear down the current building, and replace it with a retail strip.

West Ridge 'Cermak' Circular Debuts

WEST RIDGE 'CERMAK' CIRCULAR DEBUTS

This morning, amongst the usual slew of supermarket inserts, is the debut ad for 'Cermak', at 6623 North Damen.  Broccoli and cauliflower at $.49 per lb.  isn't bad.  I just hope the store has worked out the kinks and glitches by now.  My last 2 visits were nightmares!
