ALDI Shoppers, BEWARE!

Just this morning, I was notified by my bank that my debit card information had been compromised and that several ATM withdrawals had occurred. I shop at the ALDI @ 6221 N. Broadway regularly so the fraudulent transactions at ALDI that we have heard and read about in the news recently is not only occurring in the suburbs, but in Chicago as well. I can now confirm that, unfortunately.

Thank you for letting us know about this, and I hope Aldi and your bank can resolve this quickly so you can get your money back! Looks like Aldi is a cash-only place now.

I've stopped using my debit card for anything except in ATM machines. Been burned (not via Aldi, though) a few too many times. At least with a credit card (which Aldi doesn't take), your money doesn't leave your account until you pay your bill.

Thank you, Scott. Fortunatel, the fraudulent ATM withdrawals were declined; so, no money was lost. Thank God, my bank was on the ball on this and saved me a lot of grief.
